14 government parliamentarians filed an appeal with the presidency asking for the annulment of the CPMI session, which broke the confidentiality of the president’s son.
Furthermore, they ask for the opening of a process for breach of decorum in the house’s Ethics Council to investigate the conduct of the president of the collegiate, senator Carlos Viana (Podemos-MG).
The request is signed by the 14 deputies and senators who voted against the request in the committee. And he talks about “clear partiality in the conduct of work”.
The request recalls that the majority of those present were government supporters and that this “reinforces the conclusion that there was a flagrant error — or deliberate distortion — in the announcement of the result of the symbolic vote”, says the document.
As proof, the request filed with the presidency of the house attaches a photo of the moment when the 14 government members stood to reject the request.
Parliamentarians also accuse the president of CPMI, senator Carlos Viana (Podemos-MG) of acting in a way “incompatible with parliamentary decorum” and say that he “abuses constitutional prerogatives”.
Viana is accused of performing “in a bitter and undemocratic manner the role of president of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry”.
