The PS movement would win the elections to the National Council (NR) of the Slovak Republic in February with a gain of 20.6 percent. The Smer-SD party would finish second with the support of 16.4 percent of voters. It would be followed by the Slovakian Movement with a gain of 9.3 percent of the vote. This follows from a survey by the AKO agency for Joj 24 television.
The Hlas-SD party (8.8 percent), the Republika movement (8.7 percent), SaS (7.9 percent), KDH (7.4 percent) and the Democrats (6.2 percent) would also enter the parliament. The SNS (4.8 percent), Hungarian Alliance (4.6 percent), We are a family (2.9 percent), Pravo na pravda (2.2 percent) or KSS (0.2 percent) would not make it to the National Council.
Based on the survey, PS would win 36 seats in the parliament, Smer-SD 29. With 16 deputies, Hnutie Slovensko and Hlas-SD would be in the NR SR. The Republic would get 15 mandates and SaS 14. KDH would occupy 13 seats. Democrats would be represented in the parliament by 11 deputies. The survey was conducted from February 10 to 19 on a sample of 1,000 respondents.
