Melbourne – A week before the start of the season in Melbourne, the International Automobile Federation (FIA) presented a compromise solution with the manufacturers in the Formula 1 engine dispute. The central topic of the debate was the compression ratio in the combustion engine of the new hybrid drive. The FIA announced on Saturday that this will be measured in both warm and cold conditions from June 1st. A corresponding adjustment to the technical regulations was unanimously approved.
