Iran open to de-escalation efforts, says Oman

CAIRO, March 1 (Reuters) – Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi told his Omani counterpart Badr Albusaidi in a phone call that Tehran is open to any serious efforts to de-escalate tensions after the Israeli and US attacks over the weekend, according to with a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman this Sunday.

Oman has acted as a mediator in nuclear negotiations between the US and Iran.
