Netanyahu’s speech incites Iranians: They should prepare for the moment when they will have to take to the streets en masse and finish what they started

  • Netanyahu released a Farsi-speaking video created by artificial intelligence.
  • In the video, he called on the Iranian people to revolt against the regime.
  • The prime minister announced that Israel would soon hit thousands of targets in Iran.
  • He asked Iranians to take to the streets en masse and overthrow the government.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday, he posted an AI-generated video speech on social media in which he called on the Iranian people in Farsi to revolt against the theocratic regime. Netanyahu addressed the same message to the Iranians in another video, but in which he addressed them in Hebrew.

In a speech also published on Platform X, Netanyahu announced that Israel will “strike thousands of targets of the terrorist regime in the coming days,” creating “the conditions for the brave Iranian people to break free from the chains of tyranny.” Netanyahu called on Iranians not to miss this opportunity, because “it only comes once in a generation.”

He appealed to Iranians not to “remain passive” and prepare for the moment when they will have to take to the streets en masse and “finish what they started – overthrow the regime of terror that has complicated your lives.” Netanyahu also appealed to Iran’s minorities to unite in an effort to topple the ruling regime.

Israel and Iran have long had tense relations, while the main points of contention are Iran’s nuclear program, Tehran’s military presence in the Middle East region and support for militant groups including Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in the Palestinian territories.
