The National Library is celebrating International Women’s Day next Sunday with free admission and special themed tours. In the Literature Museum, the permanent exhibition is about women authors under the title “Discoverers and Revealers”, while in the Papyrus Museum the special tour “Papyri: On the trail of women in ancient sources” is dedicated to the everyday life of large landowners or the handling of legal transactions by women. The special tour “Measuring the Earth – a short history of women in cartography” awaits you in the Globe Museum. In addition, the online exhibition “The Leaf Makers” features four journalists from the turn of the century. (worm)
