Iran rules out negotiations with the US and is prepared to ‘continue the war’

Iran has no intention of negotiating with the United States and is prepared for a long war, the late supreme leader’s main adviser declared on Wednesday (4). Ali Khamenei, on the fifth day of war in the Middle East.

We have no trust in Americans and we have no basis to negotiate with them. We can continue the war as long as we want,” Mohammad Mokhbar told Iranian state television.

The state funeral of Ali Khamenei, who ruled Iran for almost four decades and died on Saturday in attacks by Israeli and American forces, will begin on Wednesday night and will last three days, the state press agency IRNA reported.

“From 10 pm on Wednesday (3:30 pm Brasília time), the faithful will be able to pay a final tribute to the body of the nation’s martyred guide, visiting the Imam Khomeini Grand Mosque, in Tehran”, announced IRNA, citing a statement from the Islamic Council for Development Coordination.

Ali Khamenei, who was 86 years old, will be buried in the holy city of Mashhadin the northeast of the country, where he was born.
