The party leaders, the Chancellor, the Vice-Chancellor and the Foreign Minister, had already taken stock, several times in fact, and they were unsurprisingly satisfied with their work, despite the obvious friction that they did not ignore. On Wednesday, the coordinators of this government finally appeared in front of the press to present their view of things after a year of black-red-pink federal government: State Secretary Alexander Pröll for the ÖVP, State Secretary Michaela Schmidt for the SPÖ and Armin Hübner, who coordinates government work for the Neos. They work in the government’s engine room and keep the coalition running.
