Austria wants to start return centers with four EU countries


Brussels (APA) – On the sidelines of the Council meeting of EU interior ministers in Brussels on Thursday, Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and Greece agreed on a concrete roadmap to quickly implement the controversial return centers outside the EU. “We are working specifically on the joint implementation of asylum procedures and return centers outside of Europe,” explained Interior Minister Gerhard Karner (ÖVP) after today’s working meeting.
