Los Angeles – Pop icon Britney Spears (44) has been temporarily arrested in the US state of California. The musician was arrested by the highway patrol on Wednesday evening (local time) and released around nine hours later, according to information from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office. The authorities initially did not officially give a reason for the arrest.
