Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) underwent two surgeries this Thursday morning, 5th, at an ophthalmological hospital in Brasília. Pre-candidate for the Presidency, Flávio had to be hospitalized, but is already at home and should resume his schedule in the coming days.
According to the senator’s office, the surgeries aimed to correct Flávio’s degree of hyperopia. The procedures were carried out by doctors Dr. Hiran (PP-RR), also a senator, and Takashi Hida.
“The senator is doing well, is recovering and should gradually resume his activities in the coming days”, informed the pre-candidate’s team for Planalto.
Flávio is preparing for his first presidential campaign. The senator’s team is currently focused on articulating alliances to form state tickets for the October elections. The senator is expected to travel to fulfill commitments in other states in Brazil in the coming weeks.
