Nighttime drone attack on a family home: A high-ranking man and his wife are supposed to be dead!

Lebanese state media said Thursday a representative of the Palestinian militant movement Hamas was killed in the north of the country during Israeli attacks. This is the first killing of a member of Hamas since the beginning of the US and Israeli attacks on Iran, TASR reports, according to an AFP report.

Wasim Atallah al-Alí and his wife were killed in a “drone attack targeting their house” in Beddawi, a Palestinian refugee camp near Tripoli, Lebanon. It happened before dawn, the National Intelligence Agency (NNA) said, describing the man as a senior Hamas official.

In the meantime, Israel issued an evacuation order for the residents of southern Lebanon and ordered them to continue moving north of the Litani River, writes al-Jazeera station. “Persons in the vicinity of Hezbollah members or its facilities are putting their lives at risk,” she declared. “Any house used for military purposes can become a target of attack,” clarified the army. NNA reported several attacks on Thursday morning. The Israeli military said it had hit several Hezbollah command centers.
