Trump reportedly made his decision after Noem’s congressional hearings

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced this Thursday (5) the Kristi Noem’s departure as Secretary of Homeland Security, one of those responsible for the American government’s immigrant expulsion policy.

Noem, who has been entrusted with the mission of “special emissary” to Latin America, will be replaced from March 31st by Republican Senator Markwayne Mullinsaid the American president in a message on his Truth Social network.

According to the press, Trump reportedly made his decision after Noem’s congressional hearingsduring which she found herself in difficulties because of the award of an important public contract.
