Find out how Brazil prepared for the game against Japan

This Sunday (28), the Brazilian team finished preparing for the duel against Japan, the first round of 32 of the World Cup. The match is scheduled for 2pm (Brasília time) on Monday (29), at the NGR Stadium, in Houston (United States), with a closed roof and air conditioning. The arena is one of the main arenas in the NFL, an American football league.

In the last training session in the morning, Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti counted the entire squad, except for striker Raphinha, who remained in New Jersey to continue treatment for an injury to his right thigh. The activities took place at the Dynamo stadium, a team from Major League Soccer (MLS), the main football league in the country. The press only had access to the first 15 minutes of training, dedicated to warming up and moving with set pieces.

The expectation is that Ancelotti will maintain the starting lineup that defeated Scotland 3-0 last Wednesday (24), which sealed Amarelinha’s classification at the top of group C, with seven points. Brazil started the World Cup campaign with a 1-1 draw with Morocco and then beat Haiti 3-0.

Amarelinha should start playing this Monday (29) with Alisson; Danilo, Marquinhos, Gabriel Magalhães and Douglas Santos; Casemiro, Bruno Guimarães, Lucas Paquetá; Rayan, Matheus Cunha and Vini Jr.

In case of victory over the Japanese, the Brazilians will face in the round of 16 the winner of the clash between Ivory Coast and Norway, scheduled for 2pm next Tuesday (30), in Dallas.
