A city of São Paulo entered a state of alert for flooding on the afternoon of this Friday (6), according to the Climate Emergency Management Center (CGE) of the City of São Paulo. THE Civil Defense of the State of São Paulo also issued a warning to residents of the capital.
“Areas of rain formed by the heat and the high availability of moisture in the atmosphere begin to spread across the city at a slow speed and oscillating between moderate and strong,” said the CGE.

Arrival of cold front

A Meteoblue estimates that it will rain at least until Tuesday (10), in the capital of São Paulo.

The National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) also issued yellow and orange alerts for rain in São Paulo and other states in Brazil. According to the institute, in the state of São Paulo, the yellow warning is valid until this Friday.
