Deputies from and from Rede asked the Ministry of Ports and Airports and the (National Civil Aviation Agency) for records of national and international flights, in addition to the passenger list, of aircraft from the company linked to .
The request seeks the list of flights from Prime Aviation, which had the banker among its owners. But it limits those in which Vorcaro was among the passengers. The order covers the period from 2021 to 2025.
The parliamentarians want to know who traveled with the banker on private flights. The request is made after it was announced that he would campaign for the then president, Jair Bolsonaro (PL), in 2022.
“This imposes on Parliament the duty to determine whether there was a transit, articulation and circulation of interests with public authorities and elected representatives in a context of financial collapse that affected thousands of Brazilians”, says the request.
The deputies (PSOL-RS), Sâmia Bonfim (PSOL-SP) and Heloísa Helena (REDE-RJ) sign the request. In the justification, they say that it is necessary to know the “real scope of Daniel Vorcaro’s network of ties”.
The request is made amidst the disclosure of documents obtained by CPMI from INSS. The messages discovered so far show the banker’s proximity to several politicians and authorities.
“The trace of relationships does not only appear in contracts and balance sheets. It appears in agendas, meetings and trips — including executive trips, made outside of public scrutiny and often used as a means of approaching, negotiating and building networks of influence”, concludes the document.
The bodies now have 30 days to respond to the questions.
