Eduardo Madeira spoke with Cristina Ferreira and Cláudio Ramos on the TVI program ‘Dois à 10’ this Thursday, March 5th.
In addition to talking about his new stand-up show ‘Great Among the Killers’, the actor and comedian also spoke about the family drama he recently experienced, as his eldest daughter was the target of bullying by colleagues at school ().
At the end of the conversation, Eduardo Madeira ended up surprised by Leonor, aged 12, who ‘opened her heart’ and left her father very emotional.
“Hi dad, I wanted to thank you for always having the patience to watch my plays, my poetry, the endless stories that I write, that I force you to read until the end. I wanted to thank you because you are the man of my life, the love I have for you doesn’t fit in my heart, you are my greatest inspiration, not only for my plays and your advice but also because I think you are very wise. Thank you, kisses”said the girl, in the video she recorded.
With tears in his eyes, Eduardo Madeira simply considered: “This girl is incredible… really”. And then he joked: “It’s not because she’s my daughter (…). Just yesterday they asked me if she hadn’t been adopted and I thought ‘maybe she was’ (…)”he said, with a smile on his face.
