In a speech at the White House, the US president states that Cuba “really wants to close an agreement”, but reinforces that it first needs to end the conflict with Iran
US President Donald Trump said on Thursday that he wants to end the war in Iran first, but then ‘it will only be a matter of time before you and many other incredible people are returning to Cuba.’
Trump, speaking at an event with the InterMiami football team at the White House, said Cuba ‘very much wants to close a deal’.
‘We want to resolve this first,’ he said, referring to the conflict with Iran.
