Vienna – The big winner at the 26th Amadeus Austrian Music Award is not a single act, but dialect pop. Pizzera & Jaus won the award for “Song of the Year” with “Zweifelturm” at the gala on Friday in Vienna. Folkshilfe secured the “Album of the Year” trophy for “bunt”. Seiler & Speer prevailed in the “Pop/Rock” and “Live Act” categories. The latter, like Folkshilfe and Anna Buchegger, who came away empty-handed, were nominated in three categories.
