After revolutionizing the financial market in Brazil, Guilherme Benchimol, founder of XP, André Street, from Stone, and David Vélez, from Nubank, joined forces to face a new challenge: unlocking the Brazilian entrepreneurship ecosystem. To achieve this, the trio created .
Aimed at entrepreneurs who already earn at least R$10 million a year, the institute will act on the points that “hold back” business growth, with methodology and advice from those who have already gone through the “pains” of starting a business.
Launch
Around 10 thousand entrepreneurs signed up to participate in the launch event that took place at one of Nubank’s headquarters, in Vila Leopoldina, on Thursday (5) and was opened by publicist Nizan Guanaes.
Of those registered, 400 people were able to participate and follow, first-hand, the dissemination of the offer that includes a special development program for entrepreneurs with four main deliverables: 1) a diagnosis and onboarding stage aimed at the company, with quarterly meetings with a group of mentors and monthly individual mentoring with big names in the market; 2) a series of specialized immersions; 3) a base immersion; and 4) an annual conference.
On that occasion, a special offer was made that requires an investment of just under R$20,000 per month for the complete program that takes place over 12 months.
However, each of the deliveries will also be sold individually, with accessible options for different profiles and practical programs for the companies’ different stages of maturity.
Continues after advertising
The first Base Immersion, for example, with ambassadors such as Jorge Paulo Lemann, Fabrício Bloisi, Renata Vichi and Henrique Dubugras, in addition to the founding trio, is now open to .
Far beyond
B55’s operation will be structured around four axes: Education and Development; Community and Networking; Journey and Acceleration; and Entrepreneurship and Innovation Hub. To this end, it will have its own headquarters with meeting rooms, podcast rooms and social spaces, as well as a series of events — including free ones.
“We have an ambition that goes far beyond that. We want to connect entrepreneurs who are here, seeking knowledge, wanting to share and participate in something that can improve everyone’s lives. This is the kickoff for something much bigger: for a movement that will have a life of its own and will be a great boost for entrepreneurship in Brazil”, said, at the time, Cristhiano Faé, co-founder and CEO of B55.
