The United States will send a third aircraft carrier to the Middle East to help in the ongoing conflict with Iran. The information was brought on Friday by the Fox News TV station, referring to the American Naval Institute (USNI), writes TASR.
The aircraft carrier USS George HW Bush is reportedly sailing across the Atlantic Ocean and headed for the Eastern Mediterranean, from where in the meantime the world’s largest aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford moved through the Suez Canal to the Red Sea. The aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln remains deployed in the Arabian Sea.
