Operário Ferroviário is two-time champion of the Campeonato Paranaense in 2026. This Saturday (7), the team defeated Londrina on penalties, 4-3, after another 0-0 draw, in the second game of the final, played at Estádio do Café, in Londrina.
In the first leg, the teams had already drawn by the same goalless score, at the Germano Krüger Stadium, in Ponta Grossa-PR.
This is Trem Fantasma’s second consecutive title in the competition — the third in history. A year ago, Maringá beat Maringá in the decision. In its 113-year history, OFEC won the State Championship in 2015, 2025 and, now, in 2026.
The LEC loses the chance of an unprecedented feat for football in the interior of Paraná: being undefeated. Champion for the last time in 2021, Tubarão did not lose in this year’s Paranaense, with five wins and seven draws.
The biggest in Paraná continues to be Coritiba, with 39 trophies, followed by its rival, which has 28.
