A new survey released this Tuesday (10) reveals an x-ray of the population’s greatest anxieties. According to the survey, the main problems in Brazil today according to Datafolha are public health and safety, which appear at the top of the spontaneous mentions of interviewees throughout the national territory.
The study, originally published by the newspaper Folha de S. Paulo, shows that 21% of Brazilians consider health to be the biggest challenge for the federal government, followed closely by violence, cited by 19% of people. The scenario reflects growing pressure on public services and fear of crime.
Economy and Corruption complete the podium
Unlike previous years, where corruption dominated the debate, the topic now appears tied with education, both with 9%. The economy, driven by fears of inflation and food prices, occupies third place alone with 11%.

Research methodology
To arrive at these numbers, Datafolha interviewed 2,004 people aged 16 or over in 137 Brazilian municipalities. The interviews took place between March 3rd and 5th. The survey’s margin of error is 2 percentage points, plus or minus, guaranteeing a 95% confidence level.
The result serves as a warning for federal management, indicating that social areas and public security should be the top priorities on the political agenda in the coming months.
