President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) spoke with the president of Namibia, Netumbo Nadi-Ndaitwah, this Tuesday morning (10). The call was to strengthen bilateral relations.
According to Palácio do Planalto, the two presidents expressed interest in deepening cooperation and investments in the energy sector.
Lula recalled the traditional cooperation between the Navies of the two countries as an example of successful South-South cooperation. The two presidents also discussed carrying out bilateral visits, in Brasília and Windhoek, but no date has yet been defined.
