A well-known Slovak singer Eva Máziková (76) on the first day of March, she set off for a non-traditional vacation experience when she decided to explore the world from the deck of a huge cruise ship. She embarked on an adventurous voyage, which could be the envy of many an enthusiastic traveler, together with her husband Peter.
Although this type of vacation promises passengers a carefree rest, the popular artist boarded the ship with a heavy heart. Even before embarking, she confided in her fans about her fears stemming from heightened tensions in the Middle East. The singer admitted that while watching what was happening in the world and the amount of conflicting news on the Internet, she had mixed feelings and was troubled by her conscience, whether she could fully enjoy the luxury trip at such a time.
“I am very excited because it will be a beautiful journey, but I have to tell you that I have a very bad conscience. It’s not normal what’s happening now in Dubai and all, and I’m supposed to be happy about it all. I have very strange feelings about all this. We were there in November, December, and everything was fine. I still said that everything is OK here, nothing is happening here, but you see, everything has already changed. It’s terrible,” she said before boarding.
Despite the initial doubts and inner turmoil, she finally took away a lot of beautiful experiences from the trip. During the cruise, the ship docked in several iconic destinations. Among them was historic Rome, which is one of her favorite things, but also Catalan Barcelona, where even the dry and rainy weather did not spoil her famous unceasing optimism.
On Monday (March 9), the adventurous journey finally came to a close and the couple returned safely to their shared home in Germany. The successful end of the vacation was confirmed by the singer herself by adding a kind message to the joint photo with her husband. “All good things come to an end. Our cruise too. And we’re back home…” she wrote alongside the shot.
