Moraes authorizes Trump administration advisor to visit Bolsonaro

Darren Beattie will be able to go to Papudinha, in Brasília, on March 18, from 8am to 10am; will be accompanied by an interpreter

The minister of (Supremo Tribunal Federal) authorized this Tuesday (March 10, 2026) that Darren Beattie, senior advisor for policy regarding Brazil at the US Department of State, visit the former president (PL) in the 19th Military Police Battalion of the Federal District, known as Papudinha, in Brasília. The American advisor was recently appointed to the position in the government of Donald Trump (Republican Party). Beattie has criticized Alexandre de Moraes on previous occasions. He called the minister, for example, “heart of persecution” to Bolsonaro.

Beattie arrives in Brazil next week for commitments in São Paulo and Brasília. The objective of the trip is to understand how the Brazilian electoral system works.
