Lars Kornetka will be the new coach of the relegation-threatened German second division soccer team Eintracht Braunschweig. The Lower Saxony confirmed this on Tuesday evening. Kornetka, Ralf Rangnick’s assistant coach with the Austrian national team, will make his debut in the home game against Fortuna Düsseldorf on Saturday (1 p.m./Sky).
