A New Festival District Committee has recently been formed in Salzburg. The group led by Salzburg local councilor Christoph Ferch (List Salz) criticizes the high costs of the planned modernization and expansion of the festival halls and calls for them to be resized. There is too little transparency, said Ferch at a press conference on Thursday.
