Police respond to reports of an active shooter at a synagogue in suburban Detroit, Michigan. There is no immediate information on the possible number of injured or dead, TASR writes, according to AP and AFP reports.
In a post on the X social network, the police wrote that you “is aware of the active shooter incident that is going on in West Bloomfield”. Several American media write that smoke rises from the roof of the synagogue.
WDIV-TV reported that a vehicle had previously rammed into the building. Dozens of police cars can be seen in the footage from the area. The Jewish Federation of Detroit recommended all Jewish organizations to lock their doors and not leave their buildings.
