Milan/Cortina d’Ampezzo – Lower Austrian Veronika Aigner won her third alpine skiing gold medal at the Paralympics in Italy on Thursday. After victories in the downhill and combination, the 23-year-old won the giant slalom for visually impaired women in Cortina d’Ampezzo with guide Eric Digruber, ahead of the Italian Chiara Mazzel. Elina Stary took bronze with Stefan Winter out of 15 participants.
