Government announces investment in Paraná without Ratinho Jr – 03/12/2026 – Brasília Hoje

The government () announced this Thursday (12) an investment of R$ 2.08 billion in the transport sector in Paraná, currently governed by Ratinho Jr (PSD) — one of the names considered to run for president against the PT member in this year’s elections, and who did not participate in the ceremony.

The event, held in Brasília, was attended by the ministers (Ports and Airports), Renan Filho (Transport) and (Institutional Relations), who will emerge as a candidate for the Senate from Paraná, in addition to federal deputy Zeca Dirceu (PT-PR).

“I’m sure that President Lula will be re-elected president of the Republic because this is the government of truth”, said the Minister of Ports. In their speeches, the heads of the departments reiterated comparisons with investments made in the previous administration.

This Thursday, Ratinho Jr is fulfilling schedules in the state.

At the Palácio do Planalto ceremony, two service orders totaling R$730 million in investments were signed by the Ministry of Transport. One of them authorizes the start of works on the Contorno Sul Metropolitano de Maringá (BR-376/PR), with an investment of R$409 million, aimed at improving urban traffic and reducing the flow of heavy vehicles in the city.

The second service order makes it possible to complete the last section of BR-487/PR, known as Estrada Boiadeira, between Serra dos Dourados and Cruzeiro do Oeste. With an investment of R$321.2 million, 37 kilometers of the highway that connects grain producing regions to the Port of Paranaguá will be completed.

The Ministry of Ports and Airports announced the authorization of the tender for the renovation and expansion of the passenger terminal and modernization of the control tower at Maringá Regional Airport, with an investment of R$ 129.1 million, and the signing of the concession contract for the exploration and administration of the waterway access infrastructure to the Port of Paranaguá, estimated at R$ 1.23 billion.
