A resident of used WhatsApp groups to report a problem that was occurring near his home due to delays in garbage collection in the neighborhood. The report was released this Friday morning (13), during a period of intense rain in the city.
In the shared video, the man shows the presence of several tapurus, larvae that usually appear in places with decomposing organic matter, and states that the situation is linked to the accumulation of garbage near the house. According to him, the material has not been collected for approximately two weeks.
During the recording, the resident shows concern about the scenario and states that insects are spreading throughout the area. According to the report, the larvae can be seen mainly when the area is wet. “When we throw water on the dark wall, it appears. It’s full of tapuru and the trash is still here near the house”, he comments in the video.
According to the complainant, the combination of accumulated trash and the strong humidity caused by recent rains may be contributing to the increase in the proliferation of larvae, causing discomfort and concern for those who live nearby.
So far, Sena Madureira has not officially commented on the reported situation. The space remains open for public authorities to provide clarifications or inform about possible measures related to garbage collection in the neighborhood.
