Secretary General of former Minister Kneissl in court from Tuesday


Vienna – A trial against the ex-secretary general of the former FPÖ Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl begins on Tuesday at the Vienna Regional Court. Johannes Peterlik must answer for abuse of office and breach of confidentiality. He is said to have requested a secret report on the poison attack in Salisbury, UK in 2018 and made it available to the ex-chief inspector at BVT, Egisto Ott. It is also said to have contained the formula for the nerve agent Novichok. Kneissl now lives in Russia.
