Trump vs. Iran: See what's going to happen today to the crazy bums - Attack on the NYT too

He is back with particularly aggressive rhetoric about the war tension in , sending a message to Iran through his new post.

The American president, in high tones, heralds further developments in the conflict, characteristically writing: “See what will happen today to these paranoid bums” on .

In his post, Trump says that the US is “totally destroying the terrorist regime in Iran, militarily, financially, in every way,” while also attacking the New York Times for its coverage of the conflict.

“If you read the failed New York Times, you’d mistakenly think we’re not winning,” he notes, adding that Iran’s Navy is gone, their Air Force is gone, their leaders have been wiped off the face of the earth.

“We have unmatched firepower, unlimited ammunition and plenty of time. Look what will happen today to these paranoid bums,” he emphasizes. “They have been killing innocent people all over the world for 47 years and now I am killing them as the 47th president of America. What a great honor to do this,” he concludes.

Earlier Donald Trump assured that the war against Iran is progressing “very quickly”, hours after the new supreme leader of the Islamic Republic, Mojtaba Khamenei, declared that his country will take revenge for US-Israeli attacks.

“The situation with Iran is evolving very quickly. Everything is going very well, our military is unreachable,” the US president told reporters at the White House.

Iran “is truly a nation of fear and hatred, and (the Iranians) are paying a heavy price today,” the Republican billionaire added, during an event with first lady Melania Trump by his side.

In recent days, Donald Trump has been sending mixed messages about the course of the war, which was launched on February 28 with US-Israeli bombing of Iran and has set the Middle East on fire.

Among other things, he has said that the US has “won”, or that the war may end “very soon”, while at the same time insisting on the need for military operations to continue.

He did not immediately respond to what Iran’s new Supreme Leader Khamenei said in his first message, promising revenge for US and Israeli attacks and that pressure on the Strait of Hormuz would continue.
