4 people died. Plane crashed in western Iraq. The loss of the KC-135 “was not caused by enemy or friendly fire.”
One plane North American refueling crashed in the west of Iraq, announced this Thursday the US Central Command (Centcom), adding that the loss of the KC-135 “it was not caused by enemy or friendly fire”.

The same newspaper indicates that the plane was involved in an apparent accident with another KC-135. The other aircraft landed safely.
The loss of the KC-135 marks the fourth plane crash of US aircraft since the start of the war against Iran, following the shooting down of three F-15 fighters by friendly fire from Kuwait.
Measuring 41.5 meters in length and almost 40 meters in wingspan, the Boeing KC-135 “Stratotanker” has four engines and a payload capacity of up to more than 38 tons, depending on its configuration.
