Åre – The fight for the giant slalom ball in the women’s Alpine Ski World Cup became even more of a duel on Saturday in Åre. Local hero Sara Hector was eliminated in the first run of the penultimate race of the season in this discipline, while the remaining competitors Camille Rast and Julia Scheib finished first and second. The Styrian Scheib is 0.11 seconds behind the Swiss, her lead in the discipline ranking over Rast is 89 points.
