The project seems to focus on a more sensitive approach, establishing a parallel between past and present.
On one side, seven students in 1896 trying to preserve Korean culture while adapting to American institutions; on the other, seven artists in 2026 taking this same cultural heritage to a global stage.
In the video, (RM, V, Jin, Jungkook, Jimin, J-hope and Suga) appear listening to a recording of the original version of “Arirang” on a gramophone.
The scene transports the viewer to 1896, when seven Korean men sang the song in Washington, D.C.

The setting chosen for the album also reinforces the album’s concept: they appear in front of the door of a hanok, a traditional Korean house, creating a symbolic contrast between the modernity of their global careers and the cultural heritage of their ancestors.
