The Government of Acre carried out a technical inspection last Friday (13) at the Ronald de Moura gymnasium, in , to monitor the latest adjustments to the renovation work on the sports space. The visit was conducted by the team from the State Department of Public Works (Seop) and confirmed that the reopening of the gym is scheduled for March 19th.
The inspection was led by the state secretary of Public Works, Ítalo Lopes, who was in the municipality closely checking the completion of the services. The work included important structural improvements to the gym, including adjustments to the facilities and the construction of new changing rooms, aiming to offer more comfort and safety for athletes and users of the venue.
During the institutional agenda, the secretary was welcomed by Mayor Tamir Sá, as well as members of the municipal management. Among them, the Secretary of Sports, Antônio Carlos, and the Secretary of Works, Antônio Lima. Representatives of the company responsible for executing the project also attended the visit and presented details on the final progress of the renovation.

Considered one of the most important spaces for sports in the city, the Ronald de Moura gymnasium plays a fundamental role in holding championships, training sessions, community events and school activities. Therefore, the restoration of the structure had been eagerly awaited by residents, athletes and students of the city.
With the completion of the work, the expectation is that the site will once again host sports competitions and projects, expanding leisure opportunities and encouraging the practice of physical activities among children, young people and adults.
The reopening ceremony is expected to be attended by state authorities, representatives of the municipality and residents, officially marking the resumption of activities at the main sporting venue in Santa Rosa do Purus.
