Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) stated this Saturday (14) that the defense of former president Jair Bolsonaro is awaiting the conclusion of a medical report to file a new request for humanitarian house arrest.
Flávio gave an interview to journalists after visiting his father for around 30 minutes in the hospital.
“So the appeal is once again and I hope that the defense, us, can present this new request for humanitarian house arrest as quickly as possible, just waiting for the medical report to be ready”, said Flávio.
The presidential candidate also stated that the problem is not the service that Bolsonaro receives at Papudinha, but rather the risk of the former president being alone for a long time.
“In one of these he may be unconscious and, for example, have a bronchial aspiration. With him unconscious, as we see out there, unfortunately, death happens”, he said.
Bolsonaro has been admitted to the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) at DF Star Hospital, in Brasília, since Friday (13).
He still has no plans to leave the ICU. The medical team believes that the former president will remain hospitalized for at least 7 days.
The most recent medical bulletin, released early this Saturday afternoon (14), indicated that Bolsonaro remained stable, but pointed to worsening kidney function and inflammatory markers.
