Ukraine does not want to lose US support in the fight against Russia as a result of Washington’s war with Iran, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told reporters on Saturday. TASR informs about it according to the report of the AFP agency.

“We don’t want to lose the Americans,” Zelenskyy emphasized, adding that the United States is currently “undoubtedly preoccupied with the Middle East.” The President of Ukraine stated this in a statement to the media, which was published on Sunday.
Support and cooperation
“We show our willingness to help the United States and its allies in the Middle East by offering to share Ukrainian expertise on drones,” Zelenskyy recalled, and “we strongly hope that as a result of the Middle East, the United States will not turn its back on the issue of war in Ukraine,” he added.
Ukraine would like to work with any Hungarian leader who is not a tool of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Ukrainian president added in a statement.
Attitude towards Hungary
“We will cooperate with any leadership in Hungary… We are ready to cooperate amicably, provided that this person is not an ally of Putin, specifically an aggressor state,” the Ukrainian leader added to journalists, according to AFP.
Meanwhile, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 97 drones on Sunday night, about 70 of which were identified as Shahid drones, Ukrainian media reported. According to them, the local air defense forces shot down or intercepted 90 drones. The fragments of the drones fell on five locations, adds the daily Ukrainska Pravda.
