A 9-year-old girl is going viral on social media after performing an impressive display of strength during the Arnold Sports Festival.
The young woman, identified as Bellmore native Lucy Milgrim, surprised the audience by managing to deadlift 80 pounds, a weight that many adults have difficulty lifting.
The moment happened during this year’s edition of the event, which took place on March 6th and 7th, and quickly began to circulate on social media. In the video, you can see the young athlete concentrating and even motivating herself before performing the movement, eventually completing the lift successfully and setting a new personal record.
