Acre is among the states that should benefit from financing of R$1.05 billion approved by the National Bank for Economic and Social Development The resources will be used to modernize and expand the electricity distribution network.
The investment also includes Tocantins and Mato Grosso, with a focus on improving energy infrastructure, replacing old equipment and expanding supply to new consumer units. In Acre, the measure should contribute to increasing the reliability of the system and reducing supply failures.

According to BNDES, the operation was structured through incentivized debentures, a model that allows raising funds in the market with more competitive conditions to finance large-scale works. Among the planned actions are the construction of substations, adjustment of the electrical load and implementation of technologies to make the network more efficient.
In addition to expanding the service, the plan also includes the regularization of illegal connections and the reduction of technical losses, factors that directly impact the quality of supply.
