Slovak presenter and entertainer Andrej Bičan accepted an invitation to the podcast, where he was interviewed by the moderator duo Matúš Krnčok and Michaela Mäsiarová. In front of the microphone, they discussed not only his work achievements, but especially his privacy, openly he described a powerful moment that fundamentally changed his life.
In the beginning, he assessed that although fate had favored him in many ways, nothing in his life was free. Every bright moment was balanced by a difficult test that tested him. “But it was offset by events that weren’t so happy. I had two divorces, a colonoscopy chaos in my life, a brutal car accident,” began to take stock.
It all started with health problems in 2022, when warning signs in the form of blood in the stool brought him to a specialist’s office. A colonoscopy followed, which revealed a three-centimeter finding.
Due to a serious suspicion of colon cancer, he had to undergo surgery immediately. Fortunately, this dramatic scenario had a happy ending and he made a full recovery. He gradually shared his feelings and details from this difficult period with his fans on the social network.
However, he admitted in the podcast that at the critical moment, when he was waiting for the decisive results, he made a promise to God that he would not drink. “I lasted four months and then I broke it. And there I confirmed that the Lord God really exists, not only loving, but also punishing, because he put a dog in that car, because my oath was broken,” believes.
In his memories, he returned to the freezing accident he experienced while on vacation in Egypt. With his typical humor, he described the situation when he tried to make a joke about a higher power, but a few hours later he was no longer laughing.
“I stood on the balcony and pointed my finger at the sky and said that it does not apply here, because there is no God here, there is Allah. 4 hours later I was rolling my car in the air,” clarified. Today, he looks at the whole incident with great humility. “I really got a second chance,” he added.
