The Linz-based cell phone manufacturer Emporia is to be sold to the Norwegian Xplora Technologies, based in Oslo. Emporia owner and managing director Eveline Pupeter wants to sell 100 percent of the shares, the company announced on Monday. There was agreement on the essential contractual conditions. It was agreed not to disclose the purchase price. If all conditions can be met, the transaction is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2026.
