The victim was on the Orihuela coast, on a cliff about 10 meters high.

A 28-year-old man died this Sunday on the coast of , near the border with Pilar de la Horadada (Alicante), when he was trying to pick up some glasses that had just fallen.
According to investigation sources, the accident occurred this Sunday around 7:00 p.m. on a cliff in the Rubio ravine, when the man fell from a height of about 10 meters. The deceased victim, a Colombian national, was walking with his partner when he dropped his glasses and slipped while going to retrieve them.
Agents from the Pilar de la Horadada Main Post, as well as members of the Orihuela Local Police, traveled to the scene. The lifeless body was later recovered from the sea by members of the Special Group of Underwater Activities (GEAS) of the Civil Guard.
