Sabesp records a profit of R$2.68 billion in the 4th quarter

It is an increase of 87.1% compared to the net profit of R$1.43 billion in the same quarter of 2024

The (Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de São Paulo) on Monday (16.Mar.2026) recorded a net profit of R$2.68 billion in the 4th quarter of 2025. This is an increase of 87.1% in relation to the net profit of R$1.43 billion in the same quarter of 2024.

For the entire year 2025, Sabesp’s net profit was R$8.46 billion, a decrease of 11.7% on the net profit of R$9.58 billion a year earlier. Here is the financial statement (PDF – 397 kB).

According to Sabesp, the positive performance “was driven by volume growth resulting from the incorporation of new connections, tariff gains and improved revenue collection, partially offset by the change in the customer mix, with the expansion of connections that have access to subsidized rates”.

According to the income statement, the company had net revenue of R$6.34 billion in the 4th quarter of 2025, an increase of 1.9% compared to net revenue of R$6.22 billion in the same quarter of 2024.

For the full year 2025, revenue reached R$24.7 billion, an increase of 3.6% over the revenue of R$23.8 billion a year earlier.

Ebitda (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) reached R$4.42 billion in the 4th quarter of 2025, an increase of 92.8% compared to the Ebitda of R$2.29 billion in the same quarter of 2024.

EBITDA for 2025 was R$14.8 billion, a drop of 18.6% compared to the EBITDA of R$18.1 billion recorded in 2024.
