Federal government starts Bolsa Família payments to thousands of families

The Federal Government began, this Wednesday (18), the payment schedule for the program for the month of March. In the local scenario, 123,244 families will be covered, consolidating an important social protection network for the state.

One of the main highlights of the official report is the average value of the transfer. While the national average is set at R$683.75, families served in the state receive, on average, R$ 728,59. The amount places the region at a prominent level, surpassed only by Roraima (R$ 735.12) and Amazonas (R$ 731.08).

In the North region, the program reaches a total of 2.42 million homes, with an average regional ticket of R$716.69. The strength of the program in Acre’s territory directly contributes to raising the region’s average, keeping the state at the top of the ranking of investments per beneficiary.

Transfers follow a strict schedule based on the last digit of the Social Identification Number (NIS). Releases occur staggered until the end of the month, allowing beneficiaries to plan the withdrawal or digital use of resources.

At a national level, the impact of Bolsa Família is significant. In total, 18.73 million families are registered to receive aid in March. The Union’s total investment for this payment cycle amounts to R$12.76 billion, reinforcing the commitment to food security and the fight against extreme poverty in the country.
