Buffalo – The Montreal Canadiens have completed the semi-final field in the NHL. The Canadian team won the decisive seventh game against the Buffalo Sabers 3-2 after overtime. Alex Newhook successfully completed a counterattack in the 12th minute of overtime and secured the fifth away win in this series. The Canadiens had previously lost a 2-0 lead, but recovered. They now face the Carolina Hurricanes.
