City Hall will not receive a single cent for providing the Interlagos race track for the festival, which will be held on March 20, 21 and 22 with an estimated audience of 100,000 people per day.
The partnership agreement signed between the mayor’s management () and the company Rock World, responsible for , was published in the municipality’s Official Gazette this Wednesday (18).
In the 2025 edition, the city council charged R$2.7 million for the transfer of the race track.
This time, the city gave up the money. In return, the municipality becomes an “institutional supporter” of Lollapalooza. With this, the Nunes management will be able to display its logo in all actions and spaces, such as tents, a stage and a six-meter-high tower equipped with an LED panel.
The city hall will also be able to repost Lollapalooza content on its social networks.
To the Panel, the city hall says that the transfer of the race track is based on public interest and the impact that the event generates for São Paulo. According to city hall, Lollapalooza is expected to bring an impact of R$500 million to the city and generate more than 15 thousand direct and indirect jobs.
“Lollapalooza not only generates income and attracts audiences, but it projects the city of São Paulo internationally”, says the Nunes management.
“The transfer of the race track promotes a strong stimulus to the creative economy, tourism, hotels, food and services; it gives São Paulo international prominence”, adds the city hall.
