UN complains about declining success in reducing child mortality

New York – The United Nations has complained about declining success in reducing child mortality and called for increased measures, for example to ensure access to “high-quality health care”. In 2024, 4.9 million children worldwide will have died before their fifth birthday, according to a study published on Tuesday (local time) by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef).
